Our customer demands constant evolution in the systems. They are sales campaigns, new technologies and development of new services that are designed to meet the needs of a demanding and competitive market. These updates focus on improvements for both the end customer and internal staff (such as financial, technology and marketing).
Test environment is imperative to simulate the impact of these updates on the applications and evaluate the success of the projects. To ensure the effectiveness of these tests, reliable environments must be made available to production environments.
If managing a single test environment is already a difficult task, imagine managing dozens of these environments. Only a dedicated and fully dedicated staff could do that.
It was then that ITShare entered this process.
The challenges had the same proportion of the amount of environments to be managed. Several different designs, for different applications. It was necessary to manage more efficiently all this park of environments.
Testing demands came not just from the customer’s technology area but from a number of third-party systems vendors. It was necessary to prioritize project delivery and ensure information security.
What was done internally by the client and demanded a lot of energy became our responsibility. We assume the full risk of managing these test environments, covering all monitoring, continuous improvement, verification and validation of incidents, as well as the quality of deliveries in each environment.
With the implementation of the managed service, we have been able to provide more reliable testing environments, with levels of certification and controls that provide more reliability in the tests. In addition, our managers assist in the prioritization of deliveries of each project. As a result, we have brought more efficiency, profitability and budget control of the area.
✓ More qualified tests thanks to more reliable environments;
✓ Reduction in the propagation of systemic errors to the productive environment;
✓ More synergy between areas thanks to the support of project managers;
✓ Reduction of financial impacts with delays in project deliveries, related to problems in test environments.
